WHY I'M RUNNING FOR BARNSTABLE COUNTY CLERK OF COURTS
IN THE NOVEMBER 2024 ELECTION
As your current State Senator, I fight for the Plymouth-Barnstable District's fair share of state support including advocating for bills and programs for economic development, protecting our environment, health and finance. Now I’m ready to focus my skills and experience in service to people at the counter, the staff and judges of the Barnstable Superior Court.
GOALS & ISSUES
My objectives line up with the four major priorities of the Supreme Judicial Court as set forth by Chief Justice Kimberly Budd: "improving technology in courts; making the courts easier to understand and navigate for users, especially self-represented litigants; reexamining how courts can respond more effectively to the difficult issues that underlie so many of the cases; and boosting diversity, equity and inclusion.
MEET SUSAN
Advocate, Mother, and Public Servant
Susan has spent her life fighting for the causes she believes in and working tirelessly to support her family and improve the lives of her neighbors and friends.
Susan grew up in a family that struggled to give their kids a better life. She learned at a young age the realities faced by so many parents who struggle to cover the bills and put food on the table.
